Still... I'd buy some good pads for the Brembos (same brands as I said)...

Keep in mind larger rotors/calipers just mean you can stop more consistantly (because they dissipate heat better) not shorter necessarily.

The pads are what keeps you stopping shorter, the lines keep good feel and won't stretch, the fluid stops you from boiling and losing the ability to use the brakes.

Basically, with experience with my two Corvettes, I've never upgraded rotor size or caliper... just pads, lines, and fluid, never had a problem with braking even when up against guys with BBKs on track days. You can have all the size in the world as far as brakes go, but shitty oem pads will always be shitty.

Again, after doing brakes... get some tires to utilize the stopping power you have.

If it were me, I'd do pads/lines/fluid (and your BBK since you have it), RCE yellows for the look, and then some sticky wheels/tires (keep in mind they need to fit over those Brembos).
Run the car like that, add sway bays to dial it in... then decide if you need more, if you do, start shopping for coilovers.
Hmm... very good advice. I may have to take you up on it. I appreciate it. I haven't looked at it in that perspective.

It'll be useful if you do any racing of any sort. I've been a track rat for years now. I was an instructor in the Northeast/Philly area before I've moved here. Basically, I've been there so I figure I should offer the advice as someone who has bought stuff out of order and ended up not enjoying the car for a time period as much as I might have if I did it right.

I have tracked a little bit w/ this car. but w/ this weather. it hasn't permitted it. But I may do it a little bit more w/ break/coil upgrades. Again. Depending on the weather. I may have to store the car until after the icey season.

I went with coils first. They are cheaper than wheels and a quick way to get rid of the awful gap.

Driver MOD... Sorry that wasn't any help. Not sure what your end goal is but I'd say, get some decent springs/RCE then you may have some $$ left for some wheels/tires. RCE's tend to hold some value so when you're ready/have some more $$ saved up, sell the springs and get the KW's.

Wheels and tires first. Cause if you get coilovers you will have to adjust twice. If you get wheels first then coilovers later you will be 4x4 for a little while but saves you the hassle of readjusting to new wheels and alignment moneys

I would go for the coils because you want to see the wheels after you have the coils in place since that's how it will be in the long run. I am debating coils, exhaust or wheels... Good luck making your decision.

In your shoes I ended up going with exhaust first. But with all the help from what people here have said. I think I'm going with coils first mainly because I can't find. Set of tires/wheels that stick out to me.

Do you know what size/offset wheels you are going to get? is you goal getting lighter wheels (and a square setup) for track duties? Or is it going to be built into a show/street car?

These are some of the factors to determine whether you want to get wheels first or coilovers first. The reason behind this is because some aggressive fitment wheels (hate to use the word hellaflush but it applies here) require aftermarket suspension in order to provide enough inner clearance for fitment. These wheels will not work with the stock shocks and springs, as the stock shock assembly is fatter than aftermarket coilovers, and the wheels will hit the spring perch.
