OMG...how long are they gonna milk this??? I'm starting to think they're really undecided on the final direction on this car. Crossing my fingers for the 13th and praying they'll give us something concrete!

Chill. I said it resembles it I'm not saying it looks just like it. I don't think they look alike either but when its the shell it kind of resembles the mkiii.

Toyota creates the new FT-86 II concept. The brand new Toyota FT-86 is faster, lighter, sportier and will be on display at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor show this September.
Faster, lighter, and sportier than what?

What part resembles it? Is it b/c it's primared in a paint booth like the Five Axis model? After all, it does say FT-86 II in the title... just saying...

Actually that is what I'm saying. The two cars didn't look very similar to me before but after seeing the ft-86 ii stripped down without the headlights and wheels ready to paint I can see they are not as far apart in looks as I thought.
You're going to watch that and not tell me they don't look like they have anything in common? Nevertheless its my opinion if you don't think they do then thats you get off my case.

*Yawn*

I'm over the concepts. We're supposedly far enough along where we should be seeing production models, but they want to wait until TAS. Unless they divulge some new information, it's just another cocktease.
