College sucks its, my first semester and i'm not enjoying it at all. Failing only one class but its mostly the professors fault for telling us late minute about tests and not teaching us the right subjects. Hell not even teaching us at all.
Just because someone knows about a subject doesn't mean they should teach it...

Vaughn College sucks...

Ive been studying the whole time, i study for all my classes, i even get to all my classes extra early just in case. Testing us on things we never were taught isn't right.

When the whole class yells out "We never learned this" while taking a quiz and the teacher says 'Your right we never did learn this. Try anyways" Is that proper teaching?

Just one class has to ruin it all, only one.

Keep your head up man, it gets better. Always at least one or two classes like that each year.

Grades open doors true, but there are a lot of other ways to make equally powerful connections.

So in the end, I'm not going to SoCali. If I only knew before Black Friday... I would of totally save those $ and went to this event.

O'well, it's all my fault. c'est la vie

Hang in there, dem00n, you'll find your groove

College isn't high school, and there's a lot more to getting an education than consuming material only to regurge it for a test. Mister Prof is aiming to teach you how to think, how to tackle problems you've never seen before, how to get creative about applying things you *do* know in new ways to discover solutions you don't (yet) know. If school were nothing more than being given all the answers to memorize and recite back, there'd be no point in even going to class - you could do that much more efficiently just reading books.

It's normal to have adjustment issues your first semester in college. The same thing's happening to one of my nephews and it's bringing back memories of my own experiences. Persevere and you'll catch on
