Stealth Bulbs?

Can anyone recommend a set of stealth bulbs for the turn signals (front and rear) that actually fit and click in place?

I went the LED route and they fall right out. Even worse, I tried to use a hanger to fish it out and put a little hairline scratch on the lighting lens. So I had to quickly run up to AutoZone and buy a magnet. Anyways, beware these LEDs are NOT a direct replacement.

I'm using chrome bulbs also but I have to ask - are you sure you had the bulbs fully clicked in? Even non-LEDs will require some force to snap into place. I have not read about anyone else with LED replacements having theirs fall out.

Yeah, they wouldn't click in and they wouldn't sit fully in the socket. They wanted to bounce right out practically. I'm not going to say any names but I'm shocked they would sell this garbage to anyone. Bought as a direct fit for a BRZ. The rears seemed to fit a little easier but you had to be super careful with them or the bulb would come off the prong connection. Essentially it just wasn't a direct fit. It rings cheap China made that generally fits on some applications. I'll try and find the manufacturer out. The funny thing is I've always used the stealth bulbs but this time I thought I'd try the LED thing. Oh well, just a waste of time and time is money.

I'm going to run by there next week, it could have been an honest mistake, so I don't wan't to bash the vendor (I haven't had any other negative experience). I'm sure they weren't deliberately trying to sell junk. I'll let them know they don't fit (get a refund) and see if they have any other feedback.

Try a different LED brand. I got mine from a vendor on here, Automation lighting (turn signals, reverse, dome, license plate, and trunk) and they all work great. Going to be getting LED DRLs soon as well to match my new HIDs. You have to push them in pretty good as there is resistance (this is normal) but they are great.

@swift996

I ordered my first set from Diode Dynamics and I had ridiculous fitment issues. I wouldn't buy any LEDs from them again. Then I searched and found TrueStreetIndustries sold some LED turn signal replacements. As soon as I put them in, they confidently snapped into the bulb socket, nice and snug. I would recommend TSI bulbs. Mine are switchbacks too.

Are the chrome bulbs dimmer by nature? The set I got are only as bright as...well the turn signal of the chrome is only as bright as the running light of the stock.
