Who is doing Cars and Coffee this Sunday? I haven't had time to put any of my cosmetic mods on, but I'm still considering going.

Also I spotted a Firestorm at P.F. Changs near the Arboretum at lunch today. Anyone here? Sadly I was in my friends FJ, or I would have parked right next to ya!

Ordered ours last night. The tentative plan is for the wife to daily drive it a few years and then turbocharge it.

Any compelling reasons to wait and order a 2014?

Let us know how it goes. When I was searching for one a few months ago, I contacted all Austin area dealers and the responses I was getting made it seem like it would be 4-8 months before I could get my hands on one.

Started calling dealers in OK/LA and ended up finding one in Lawton, OK, and had it within a couple weeks!

We were told 2-4 months (Champion), but there's probably some reason they wouldn't charge us the $500 deposit right then and there...

4-5 of us are heading to Austin saturday, and may be attending the cars and coffee.

I'm heading there as usual with a bunch of fellow 370z owners. See this thread:

http://www.the370z.com/texas/34505-a...-vents-67.html

I switch off between bringing my 370z roadster and my BRZ. This month I'm bringing the BRZ. Obviously, anyone on this thread is welcome to meet up with us and caravan over. If not, I hope to see some of y'all there.

Here is my new car I picked up last night. I drive parmer, to mopac, to 183 and research mostly for work and live in Round Rock. Ultramarine ftw!

Thanks man. Love the car so much. Can't wait to drive it more after work even though rain is scheduled the whole weekend.

Nice. We'll undoubtedly be seeing you on the road.

Did you get the upgraded sound system or 3M bra?

All the options are on this one, Bespoke, 3M, Shield package. Loving it.

Is the shield package worth it? Our sales guy could barely tell us anything about it. It's the only option we opted out of because we assumed it was similar to the couch 'shield packages' we've purchased in the past... You know -- comforting to have but it doesn't cover anything that might actually happen. Hopefully I'm wrong.

These smilies are awesome, haha.

I've been driving the car a bit, and haven't had a chance to read through it. When I went through that option though, he explained it to me fully. It covers quite a bit, but I'll get you more details on it. I originally opted to not get it, but I could have been waiting 3 more weeks for another Ultramarine that didn't have the shield package if I turned it down. I said what the hell, went with it, couldn't be happier.

I'll post what it covers and what it doesn't. The 3M package is TOTALLY worth it. Absolutely love that.

Kinda far from where I'm at. I'll see how late I'm up tonight if I want to get up tomorrow morning haha.
