Same here. I had it replaced, and on my drive to work that day it was chirping again, only this time louder than before.

Now this is interesting. Shell V power in Ontario is ethanol-free. Which means ethanol only speeds up the development of crickets, and is not the primary reason for the noise.

Yep, only V power used from day 1, chirping just started after 3000 miles. Chirping started after a hard drive and went away on next start up, but it's happening more often, although not very loud

I haven't noticed chirping on my BRZ at all. It's got just over 500 miles on it right now.

Same here. I've been using Shell V-Power since day one as well. The chirping started around ~1500 miles. It's not bad, but I hope Subaru and Toyota are working on a permanent fix and not just a hand out the same old same old.

Chirps 'til 2800 miles and replaced high pressure fuel pump. Now +500 @3300 miles not a peep.

I had chirping starting at 700 miles or so. The chirping got a bit louder over the next 4000 miles. Since around 5000 miles, the chirp has gone away on its own. I didn't change anything, still using the same gas stations, still AutoX every month. I'm at 6500 miles now. I'm wondering if the winter-blend gas is keeping the chirp away?

Not doubting you, just that according to SOA there is no one coming forward.
03Z33, can you do an update on your situation? Any chirps now??

First cold day of the year, really. Took my wife to dinner and stopped at a drive through to get coffee on the way home. Roll down my window, and what do I hear? Damn crickets from the fuel system again.

Guess I'm heading to the dealer on my way to work tomorrow.

You probably developed a mental block for the noise

I went from 1k to 7k miles with the chirp until the first TSB attempt. It would get a bit quieter with cooler weather, but mostly due to different load on electrical system and hence different rpms; and due to harder driving being required to properly warm up the system. It's was around freezing here just before my second pump install, but I'd get it to chirp every time after an enthusiastic drive. If I drove like a grandma (or in heavy traffic) I would not get the chirp with cool weather.
