Question to the all knowing (at least more than I know) tech nerds.

Any thoughts on the Windows 8 Phone and Window Surface Tablet?

@ m-17, I love my WP7. Will definitely get another.

So I was harassed by the cops a week ago and had my car searched because they claimed to have smelled marijuana... which was complete BS. What I found out upon research is that you cannot challenge an officer's sense of smell; and that marijuana smell is probable cause to have your car searched.

The US desperately needs marijuana reform. The number of people in prison for victim-less crimes; the number of studies which disprove the government's claim of marijuana being harmful; the number of states which attempted to legalize but are harassed by the feds; the number of people struggling to receive medical marijuana for their illnesses... is staggering.

What does it take to get it legalized? Are we really under the impression that the government is "for the people, by the people"? The citizens of the US have been lied to, have their requests for change denied, and have been criminalized for the last 70 years...

In a time of economic downturn, suppressing an industry that regularly brings in more cash than corn, can provide millions of jobs and can reduce DEA spending is simply absurd.

My question is this; if we as a nation cannot change that law, how are we to think that the government is in any way shape or form not pursuing it's own agenda while being bribed by pharma and private prison facilities to keep it illegal?

Enough is enough, I'm really fed up with this.

**Deleted double post, sry about that.

Busy busy day today. Half day of work then to the train station to take a ride down to NYC's Grand Central station, take a short cab ride to Penn Station, then catch a shorter train ride to my friend's exit where I'll meet up with him. Then he's gonna drive the rest of the way to Philly. Seeing W&W, Kyau & Albert, and Ummet Ozcan tonight! My second Trance show, and I've been listening to this music for years. I can't wait!!

What's up with people these days. My neighbour tells me she saw someone bumping into my brothers car and taking off.

Someone bumped into my car on 3 different occasions over the course of 3 months. And the best part is nobody left a note. Ffs learn how to drive.

Our forum kicks ass.
The layout is super nice-clean and very easy to explore
Lots of kind people - to the point if someone were to be like bad choice in rims the other person wouldn't freak the hell out.
Lots of good advice too. Lol I was on another car forum and was like wtf kind of layout is dis?

The people of Colorado and Washington state have started the movement. The first major hurdle has been passed with those two states telling the Feds to STFU and GTFO.

Alcohol prohibition wasn't repealed over night and neither will marijuana prohibition. It took a few courageous states to throw the BS flag and challenge the Federal governments ability to regulate alcohol within their borders. After the first states were successful (and the world didn't end after alcohol legalization) more and more states began to fall like dominoes.

A lot of states will be watching what happens in Colorado and Washington. If those two states can make legalized marijuana work without drastic increases in crime and DUI, then you can bet more states will jump on board (there's too much money to be made not to).

I'm too attached to Android to try something new. I've been using it '09 I wanna say. Has everything I need and want, and then some! I contacted Verizon to see if I keep my unlimited data plan if I get the Note 2 at full price (I'm not at my upgrade yet, and even I was, I would lose the plan) and the reply I got gave me a way to use my other line on the account which has an upgrade available as a way of keeping my plan and getting the phone at a cheaper price. Granted, I haven't fully read it, since it was a quite a lengthy email, but it was quite nice of them. But if I decide to just buy the phone out right, then I do keep my plan. I've never gone over 2GB a month in data, but I've come close (1.5~). All depends on if that month I stream a lot of music via DI.fm's app.
