Decent Floor Mats

Anyone find any decent waterproof floormats? Ideally, they would cover an area larger than the OEM carpet mats or cover a wide area like the weathertech floorliner.

Aren't the stock ones water proof? I mean, the bottom is all rubber....At least in my BRZ they are.

I don't know about you guys, but the amount of mud, salt, gravel and sand that I track into driver's side well is stupendous. That's why I like those oversize liners.

I personally would like to wait for the weathertech liners...you get what you pay for. Better fit and finish than $10 liners from Walmart and they are custom fitted to each seating position.

True. I'm hoping to find something to use in the interim, though, because I park outdoors and there's no telling how long WeatherTech will take. $10 from Wal-Mart might make a decent interim solution.

they will, and more! they do cover all the floor,
and they have the raised ridge design that traps water and crap
they are a nice premium rubber, and look good! for the scratch,
they are a true value!

I am not buying Wal-Mart mats. First of all, they are probably made by slave children in Bangladesh, second, they literally stink. They smell like burning vaseline, or a fire in a Bangladeshi slave child factory.

Lloyd Rubbertite mats are a decent alternative right now. Custom fit for our car, but no outer lip unfortunately. A little on the pricey side $70-80 but I was happy to pay this for a proper winter mat with the OEM type anchors.

If you have a Sam's Club near you, check them for floor mats. My Sam's sells a 4 piece set for around $20 made by Kraco (I think) and they are heavy ribbed and very trimmable to fit. The rear mats fit in perfectly sideways. Drivers side takes a little more trimming than the passenger side and you can trim the upper right corner as well to prevent 'unintended acceleration'. Can't go wrong for $20.....

I'm thinking about getting some 2010+ Legacy all weather mats for the time being until weathertech comes out with something. They are a near perfect fit but I'll just modify them to accept the anchors on my BRZ.
