FRS dailydriver/drifter

As the title says this thing is gonna be my new daily driver/drifter.

Here she is the day I got her (my camera lens was super dirty.......)

Took about 2-3 days or so until I had to try and start fitting wheels, used my old Rotas from my rwd WRX to get a baseline fitment, pretty close actually (with the old 235/45r17 tires).

Just needed more low, I am not a 4x4 fan. So I ordered up some Cusco Zero 3 s coilovers. I was kinda worried about how they would effect the car after takin it out to its first drift session in all stock form. All stock it did waaaayyyyyyy better than I thought it would. Alot easier to drift than my wrx was actually, even with alot less power.

Installed the coilovers anyway (really I have a problem and can only drive lowered cars I thinks), along with the Rotas again(until the real wheels show up), but with some 215/45r17 Dunlop Direzza dz101 tires.

Still have to get her on the alignemnt rack to fix everythin that got all screwy when I dropped her, but it still handles pretty similar to stock, just a bunch stiffer of course. I have the camber plates and bolts set to zero and there is no rubbing. Of course that could be do to the fact that the cuscos dont go as low as some other coilovers, not to american "stance specs" that is.

Next up is a tiny hp increase (i hope) coming fromm some new exhaust piping at the very least. kind of tempted to take the manifolds off and get em port matched and ceramic coated, though I dunno if the coating will be possible with the cats on the factory header, or if it would even give an increase like it did on the wrx.

Mine took about 8 weeks or so, they had to build it cause I ordered it just after they did their first order. I heard it takes around 8-12 weeks to get one after ordering now

Man that's amazing. Love how she's coming out. Makes me think about getting bronze or gold wheels too when I get a hold of my black frs (26th)

Installed the new exhaust tonight. The catback from Agency Power.

Sounds good outside, but louder than I thought it would be inside the car. Not as loud as my old corolla though so I can live with it

Had some requests for rear end shots of the exhaust

The tips look smaller than in RL here, but they fill the bumper good enough in person I think. Just working on some fitment issues right now, the mid pipe was sittin on my diff after runnin this exhaust for a coupla days. cleaned the assembly oil/lube from the pipes and connector, loosened and retightened the exhaust with clearance for the diff, we shall see if it stays in place this time. Also had to mess with the passenger side muffler to pipe connection, wasn't clamping down good enough (even after cleanin up the oil on the pipes from assembly) and had to get a coupla tack welds to get the thing to stay in place...... talked to agency power and they are workin on a fix for the newer production peices (too bad it wasnt fixed for me considering what I payed for the exhuast).

Can you share the specs on the Rota's? As already mentioned, those look better then any other 17" wheel I've seen.

Your exhaust didn't like that! Could have been worse.
