Can't wait to see the S model in the Lime Gold or Aqua Blue. Mahogany, Amaranth Red, and Cognac look interesting too.

I'd have to agree... I'm not a fan of the built-in spoiler splitting through the tail lights.

I also don't like how 'busy' it looks with stuffing the 'Porsche' logo and also the 'Cayman S' logo underneath... Just too much to read and look at there.

However, I think Porsche did away with the US spec rear bumper collision brackets that were existing in the prior generation of all Porsches... I don't know the exact term for those two bumper safety brackets in the rear, and all I know is that the US spec Porsches had them, and Euro versions never did. Always annoyed me, and I'm thinking they finally found a way to make them disappear with the new redesign. Someone correct me if I'm thinking backwards here...

While am on topic of criticizing, the wheels fill up the car pretty good... But they are way too big for my taste. They scream 'grand touring' more than 'sports car'... My opinion.

Well, expensive cars need fat rims, because non-low-profile tires are cheap and for plebs. Also, good ride quality is clearly an indicator of a crap car.

Hmm, interesting comparison picture between the new 981 Cayman and new 991 Carrera:

Personally I like the lines on the 911 better. I'd probably go for that at $80k over the Cayman S at $65k. Also the 911 has the lineage/character.

Haha good luck finding a 911 for 80k, options will have them all near or over 100k.

Gone are the days when the hood is close to scraping the ground, thanks to those stupid European laws.

I just don't understand the Cayman/Boxster rear ends though, they look so ugly.

always have been amd always will be a big fan of the cayman its the car that got me back into porsches, and this one looks sexy from all angles(yes even the rear) imo
