Saw a black/grey FR-S yesterday on Tasman heading to 880. Don't think you saw me though!

Also, really random, but my mom's car was stolen last night. If anyone sees a 2000 Green Honda Civic LX with plates "EZSCOOL" please please call the cops!

Saw a black FR-S heading on the 1 North, near Hickey, you were taking the exit for the 280 South I think. Around 8:20 AM today, morning commute I suppose.

Was driving my Civic to work so you wouldn't have noticed me.

No, but seriously it's probably chopped up by now. Hondas are notorious for being easy to steal. Nonetheless, I'll keep an eye out.

White FRS spotted on 80/50E in Sacramento in the huge eastbound traffic jam yesterday. Had tints, otherwise stock.

The last night meet we had was dominated by white brz's and fr-s's. kinda looked like a company car meet or something.

It didn't make much sense to me either, but the first couple of driving events I did people said that to me and I figured better not risk it. I left them on going back and forth between the track and town, but after the event for the drive home I took them off. Then again, I just used painter's tape so they were short-lived numbers anyway. I just now tried googling but didn't find anything relevant; maybe it's just a myth.

I'd say numbers on your car just attract more attention and that might get you pulled over if they notice other violations - no front plate, tint too dark/front windows, that sort of thing.

I drove my IS around for 2 years with tint all around, exhaust, etc. No problems until I got new rims and put some windshield stickers on, suddenly the car got all kinds of attention.

Saw a white FRS with Fremont Scion plates, in downtown Livermore... He gave me peace sign, I gave him the thumbs up. I was headed to Livermore Subaru to get my GPS navi and crickets looked at.
