Even if your jeans have stains or start to get some odd funky smell going on them?

Not me, that's where I draw the line.

I wear them for a week max. Now sweatpants I change every 2-3 days depending on activity(exercise etc). But I have gone a month without showering...while camping of course.

My personal limit is 4-5 days, I've gone a week before but that's because I was extremely lazy and didn't feel like grabbing a new pair from the closet and all.
Mines roughly around 3 weeks. I don't want the color to fade so... I try to not wash them as much. Unless they're dirty. Yea that shit is going into the washer. haha

The smell of oil and gas is not something I want to smell at home.

Haha. :P If its dirty I wash them! but if they're still pretty clean its pretty close to once a month since.. I have about.. 6 different pairs.

Stains or smells go instantly into the washer. Well, as soon as I get home to it.

So I was picking up my boys from day care today, I used the remote to unlock the car doors and let the older one (Erik) open his own door while I put the little one into his seat. Erik, being three, opened his door with no regard at all for the car beside us. It left a small but deep scratch in the fender of the other car. My fault, 100%, no argument there.

I got the kids in the car, and waited for the owner of the other car to finish putting her kids into their seats so I could inform her and give her my contact info to pay for the damage.

I was waiting, standing outside of my car but not in a threatening position or manner.(yes something I think about whenever I approach a women I don't know) Seeing me there she opted to buckle the first child into the seat and then crawl through the back seat of her civic to get to the other seat so she could buckle in that child. When I saw this I got into my car, started the engine to indicate my intention to leave, rolled down the window and waited. After I informed her and offered to give her my contact info she said no before she even looked at the fender. She was visibly terrified of me.

I hate what feminism has done to create terrier in women. And I despise that I have to cater to that fear instead of just being able to speak to another human being. Feminists are the most active and influential terrorists in our society and I'm really getting tired of it being viewed as empowering.

Oh are you saying you rotate between 6 pairs a month? So average wear time is like 5 days? That's not that bad, although I still think 3-4 is best. I have 5 pairs and I go through 3-4 per laundry cycle (2 weeks where I let clothes pile up )

YIKE!! Is this regional or something? I don't feel terrified of men, nor do the women I know; and certainly not of dads with young children. If I noticed you just standing there, I'd probably ask if I was in your way or something.

Now that I think about it, I'd have to say that the smaller the town the more this happens. But also mom's with their kids are WAY worse. I was in an almost empty restaurant once with my wife and our kids. Another women was there with her kid and she was letting the kid roam around a little. No big deal all the wait staff understood and so did we. Then the kid started bolting for the open door. I got out of my seat to stop him, I didn't touch him, just stood between him and the door and waited for mom to scoop him up. No thank you was offered. In fact she looked at me like I had taken her child and she was afraid I was going to eat him for my lunch.

Another time I was at a park with my kids. Another kid from daycare happened to be there. This kid hugs EVERYONE, it's really cute. So he saw us and ran up to hug Erik. I made sure to take a step back as I didn't know the parents, only the child and I didn't want to scare anyone.... They saw Erik and him hugging and I don't know what went through their minds but they ran over and took their child away from mine. Like what, did I train my three year old to help me steel little children or something. Our kids play together EVERYDAY, they see my kid every afternoon when pick up their kid. But nope, straight to instant fear of the scary scary man. A few minutes later when my wife and youngest were spotted by the little hugger both got hugs and the parents just looked on and watched. After that I decided to not bother trying to spare them any fear. The look on their face when I called their child by name, high fived him, and started helping him and Erik on the slide was priceless. About what you'd expect if you woke up in hole with someone telling you to put lotion on or get the hose again.

I could go on and on but I think you get the drift. I'm literally terrified someone is going to call the cops and tell them I'm trying to steal children every time I go out with my kids and my wife isn't there. Or even worse, trying to strike up a conversation with someone while we push our kids on the swings or something. Because clearly asking a question like "Wow, that's a cute jacket (pointing to the child) where'd you get it?" is a clear indication that I'm a scary dragon and my favorite foods are women and babies.
