what coilovers did you get, and how much ? you thing a 1 inch drop with springs would be just as good? im not looking to track my car just looking for the appearance, with a 1 inch drop and the same tires as you and wheels would there be a problem with rubbing and fitment?

I think 1" would be just fine. I lowered more because im into the flush look, but my rear is dropped about 1" exactly and it looks pretty flush. As far as the handling, i really think you should stick to springs if you don't track the car or anything of that nature. I have fortune auto coilovers and i really like the way the car drives, very quite, smooth and stiff enough for the road(at full soft setting) but really stiff and aggressive if you need it at the track. The fortune autos ran be about 1500, with all the upgrades(roller bearings, rear extenders, swift springs...) You wont rub with the same setup, i dont rub and i'm a little bit lower. I dont mean not rubbing around town driving, i dont rub even under really hard cornering forces.

I do have tps installed, i just took both sets of wheels to a local trusted shop and had them install my tps from my oem wheels to my new wheels. The reason i did that was because a lot cheaper than getting new tps sensors and having to go to the dealer to reset them and match them to my ecu, my dealer quoted me 300+dollars and the local swap was $100 and everything worked like a charm, the car never knew he got new wheels.

Miro 111 - 18x8.5 / 18x9.5

Finally got my wheels! Tires (Dunlop Direzza DZ101) coming in on Monday. Can't wait to slap all of this together!

Specs

18x9.5 - 265/35-18

Can't Wait!!

Unfortunately I'll be going to AUS next week (after Thanksgiving with the family) and I won't get to break these bad boys in as much as I want to cause the car will be at Prime Motoring in East Rutherford, NJ getting the P&L Turbocharger kit installed for 400rwhp!!!

Yes! Awesome! I can't wait... Got the red lug nuts to match the red BBK I'll be getting Q1 of 2013.

I just realized... Do I need anything extra for the Lug Nuts? I should be good to go with what's in the pic right? Nothing needed to be modified on the wheel hub...?

New wheels and tires with Eibach Sportlines, Miro 111

Just got my new wheels and tires. Like the look a lot, but still too much gap. Ordered some eibach sportlines and plan to put on this weekend. Sure hope they fit with these wheels and tires....Any thoughts? Also need to order some black lug nuts.

Miro 111
Front: 18x8.5 35 225/40/18
Rear: 18x9.5 40 255/35/18

I like the wheels, but the tires just seem to wide imo. Maybe if it was a little lower. I'm curious, but, why the thinner sidewall tires on the rear?

I'm the opposite of jayde... I think the tires should be wider then the rims.. I like the fact you didn't stretch yours.. Good job

Both tires sidewalls are the same height. Staggered tires usually drop 1 aspect ratio for the rear tires. 35 from 40. The number is a % of the section width. So 35% of 255 = 40% of 225. The math is not exactly perfect, but close enough for how tires work.

http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos Here is a tire calculator that will help anyone understand tire sizes better...

I love the wheels and tire sizes! Great job! Can't wait to see it when its lowered.

Looks good, i would go ahead and order some OEM camber bolts for the front and be prepared to get something for the rear too if you need camber adjustment. I wouldn't get black lugnuts you need some contrast there i don't think it will look good completely blacked out. Maybe get some red ones or like a gunmetal color if you don't like the chrome.
