Not forgotten about this, still waiting to hear back from the local garage, the person I spoke said they were contacting Toyota to help with parts interpretation, I will give them a couple more days and try again on Thursday.

Got a call today in regards to my query.
Unfortunately not good news, Toyota's answer was to the inquiry - supply the switch assembly that complies with the car's VIN #.
Unfortunately I have a GTS spec so I can't see what would fit my car even.
You are obviously going to need a GT spec owner to make this inquiry and supply their VIN # to Toyota to get the right part number and prices.
Might be worth posting something in the Australian thread as there are plenty of GT owners about.
