Anyone else notice only one header coming off that engine? I see the one on the left with the catalytic converter but where's the one on the right? No way it runs underneath the engine.

I'm trying to remember my buddies sti. I think that's why the boxers have that rumble. Unequal length header maybe. I would love to have that boxer rumble.

ichitaka, thank you so much for those 2 pics! I did not see those.

Wow, that's horrible! Why would you negate the advantage of a low profile engine by stacking it directly on top of the exhaust header!?!? Furthermore, why would you intentionally want to keep the extremely hot exhaust header mounted against the engine?

FML, what a disaster. How can this be the best design?

technically, it doesn't touch the engine. Boxer engine had header come out from the bottom since... forever. It work perfectly fine.

You won't have to change for 100,000 miles.

Yes, very annoying.. its not hard, just time consuming because many times you have to get rid of a few items up top to fit your wrench between the shock tower and engine. What would normally take 15 min to change out spark plugs on a inline-4 or v6. Expect 25min-35min tops to change out plugs.
