FR-S rubber mats, anyone selling?

Anyone not using their rubber mats? I'd be interested in buying a set, preferably from Calgary, but anywhere works.

Also, does anyone have a picture of what they look like or can tell me if the pattern is uniform across the mat? I hate changes in ridges that my heel can catch on.

Have you checked if a Toyota/Scion dealer near you sells them? I don't think any Canadians wil be selling their rubber mats, especially when we're getting all wet in the snow now.

Toyota dealers have to custom order them from Japan, since it's not actually an accessary (as they come with the car). $80+tax in the dealer system but no arrival date is given, so it could be 2 weeks, or 2 months before they actual arrive.

Interesting. My dealer told me the rubber mats come standard because of all the problems Toyota had, so they included them standard in all cars.

Apperently not. Or the dealer took them out.

I had to sign a release that stated I'm responsible for any damages if I install other rubber mats (like weather tech) instead of the ones given by Toyota/Scion.

OP drives a BRZ. Subaru has a different policy, I guess. It seems they get the trunk liner and we get the rubber floor mats.

That is strange. You should have got them with your FRS. Unfortunately us BRZ guys don't get them, so our only avenue is to order from a Toyota/Scion dealer (basically as if an FRS owner lost or wanted a replacement for the ones that SHOULD have come with their car). In fact, some dealers that I called wouldn't even order them for me unless I had a valid FRS VIN.

I went with Lloyd Rubbertite mats instead after all this uncertainty.

Yeah, no OEM Subaru rubber mats and so no possibility to order from Subaru. The Toyota dealer told me $100 but no ship date known so they couldn't sell them to me.

I know some are complaining about the coverage of the rubber mats and are replacing them with real winter mats. In my case I hate real winter mats and would rather destroy the carpet ones and replace them later, but the FR-S rubber mats look like they might work. Otherwise I'm going to look for a flat rubber mat or stick with the carpet ones, but I figured the FR-S ones would anchor in properly and be less likely to move.

Mine came with them, and that was before the problems really started to surface so I don't think it's related at all.

Have you looked at the Lloyd Rubbertite mats? They very flat, cut for our vehicles, but do hold a lot of water (without being bulky like off the rack mats).

I think I paid $89 for mine? Not bad, considering they are decent looking, low profile, and probably better quality than the OEM FRS mats anyway.

I'll have to take a look at those. Where did you buy them from?

There are lots of online places that sell Lloyd mats though, just not as many that are Canadian.

I got mine from Canadian Tire, From Rubbermaid on Black Friday for $9.99, did minor cutting, fits perfectly and doesn't more. It's been about a week.
