It is an insanely predictable car in the wet IMO. First time I had it in the wet I did a reverse entry into a roundabout at about 70kph. Obviously there was nobody around but it was really surprising to see how much control it has when sideways and in the wet. It's fun.

if you pay the fines after your 1 year 1 point is over, im 99% sure you will be treated as if you have your full licence. vic roads aren't aware of any demerits until the fine is paid.

It's used to be like that here. A long while ago. Not anymore. Points are back dated in Nsw.

I am loving this car in the wet! So much fun and not as snappy as my Cappuccino or my Old IS...which makes it easier to predict what its going to do.

You're screwed dude. They will send you the fine. I've had a highway copper write me up before and then send me the fine the mail because he didnt know the details of what to book me for.

but im 99% sure fines arent backdated. So by the time you get it/pay it (you have like 30 days to pay or something). You'll be off your good behavior and a few points lighter again lol.

Nope all fines in NSW are back dated. My brother thought they weren't and held off until he knew he be getting some points back. It didn't matter as soon as he paid the fine it was back dated and h lost his license.

That's probably a very true statement sadly but if you spend time in an empty parking lot or grow up with a truck like I did and throw it all over in a field car control is very easy to learn.

Speak for yourself, our PT is clean, somewhat reliable (even though people in Perth still whinge about it) and is probably the safest in the world

I am getting sick of turning off all the nannies everytime i get in the car. Wet or dry.

I dont know, I just hate nannies. How did people use to drive without these nannies. Quite easily. I guess more skill is involved.
On a public road, you will never be able to legally achieve anything close to something that would be hampered by the safety systems, so do us all a favor and leave them on, because one day, even if you dont mess up, someone driving around you will, and its then up to you to avoid it.

doesnt matter who is 'at fault', if you can avoid a prang, you avoid it. no repairs required are better than free repairs.
