Looking at the pics from Sema it was llike looking at Fast and Furious 1. Nothing really to write home about...maybe just some bits and pieces I liked. (Although the Mean green Rocket bunny body kitted looked fantastic and clean.) The moment you match the colour of the riveted part with the actual body kit it does not look so bad...but when they are different they look like an after thought.
i think the problem is the RB guards stick out too much (too aggressive) and without filling in at the bottom seems unfinished.

if they stick out less with a less exposed bottom, it can look more integrated.

I think someone did a render of RB kit with the fender extension all the way down. It looked quite good.

They sure did Hawk, and I agree with you. The Rocket Bunny kit looks a MILLION times better molded:

OMG....That is sex on wheels. Not a fan of the skirts but hey...the rest looks sooooo much better! I think they did it in different colours too as far as I remember. Solstice got some serious kills!

I am willing to bet that if someone is willing to invest near the value of the car for a serious modification to the body, that car will have some serious modifications to the engine as well, so it won't be a 200hp car any more
And as for the rivets, I would cover them looks better IMO
