I ran the event yesterday (Saturday) in my FR-S at this event. It's all stock except for Project Mu B-Force brake pads front/rear, Motul RBF600 brake fluid (stock fluid boils easily!) and Enkei RPF1 17x9 +35 with Hankook RS3 245/40/17. It was a blast! I ran Buttonwillow a couple months back with stock tires and pads, and let me say that the tires and pads made a massive difference. Here is my vid...

It was nice meeting all of you (I was the one in the blue FR-S). I had a great time at the event. Hopefully we can all meet up again, at future events.

Haha, should've seen the Porsche 996 911 GT3 that wouldn't let me pass, eventually he did let me go past, I don't think he was that happy that a $26k Scion beat his $180k Porsche I have video of it that I should upload too lol

I also had a great time there. I was in the white BRZ. Sadly outnumbered by the FRS's.....ah hem....Mike......

Anyhow. Once I finally got the tire pressure adjusted, everything went much better. Yes, that was me that spun out on Turn 10, not Johnny. SO for informational purposes, 36° hot seemed to be the ideal tire pressure for the stock Michelins.

On a side note, coming off the track at the end of the last session, just about 5pm I popped the dreaded CEL/Traction light. I drove home like that and pulled the battery cable to reset. I'll see how things go over the next few days.

A friend took some pics during the day. All are uploaded here: http://durkee.fbox.net/gallery3/inde...Speed-Nov-2012

Great pix! Tell your friend it's much appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your CEL. I had an OBDII scanner with me - we could have at least seen what it was complaining about. Do you know what ECU version you're running? I had mine in 3 times...tried an 810, 811, 811 with flash, and finally 812. My 812 ECU seems to be good now. On a good note, it sounds like the turnaround time for fixes is finally dropping. Let us know how it all turns out...

I have no idea what ECU version I have. Just started researching the issue. I will keep everything updated in my LOG

I was there on Sunday only. It was great! Only about 70 cars and hardly any traffic on track. I did get to put down a few laps in the RobiSpec time attack FR-S. That car is amazing! That car is good for a 1:26 CW at the streets easy, but what I'm really interested in is what it will do at Buttonwillow. I should have taken some video in the Robispec car ;( Can someone post a photo??? There where tons of people taking pics of that thing...
