The Mayan calendar is based on the sun and stars. There's no need for leap years. Our calendar, being influenced by ancient religion and politics is imperfect and needs the bandaid of leap years. The cataclysm will go on as scheduled.

(Actually, there is no cataclysm. Their calendar ends because noone's left to update it.)

Thats not true at all. I added spacers to my last build with a plastic manifold and was able to go back and add more timing to the top 2500 rpms in the rev range with the same knock correction values. While i am reluctant to use always/never statements with tuning, i cant think of a time phenolic spacers didnt make some power. Probably not worth going after in and of themselves, but there is no reason not to add them if the manifold is off already.

IAG performance in Westminister, MD built a twin screw blower kit for Scion's sema FRS. It had a new manifold with an integrated A/W intercooler set up. Pretty slick.

For those with weak google-fu

Link has a picure of the blower set up. They only had like 4 days to put this one together so its not the finished product. There will be a couple of stages, but i dont have any idea when it will be released. IAG doesnt really rush stuff to market. (in a good way).

The car won the Scion FR-S tuner challenge at SEMA as well.

This COMPANY WAS/IS EIP (Google them). They were a VW tuner company who ripped off dozens of people. Transfered ownership, kept the same people working there but changed the name and their back in buisness.

I dont know if their buisness practices have changed, but I know it is said they were putting used parts in peoples cars and charging them for new.

VWVORTEX forums has a whole write up about them.

I personally won't go near them... way too much shady buisness said to be going on there in the past. Blowing engines.. GOOGLE them... EIP has more NIGHTMARE stories surrounding them, it's no wonder they changed their name.. Because NOBODY would every buy from them..
