It may look goofy, but those Scion Time-Attack cars he's built really tear shit up. They set astounding times.

That would look a lot better if they changed the headlights.

Really nice though.

Great addition, but that's way cooler than a hardtop -- it's a proper coupe!

Going back a generation, here's a one-off they did...

I personally think it looks way cooler than the later style that actually went into production. I like how the rear windscreen curves over the side of the car instead of having an elongated quarter window.

Here's some other neat photos:

Looks aside, that car is built to be as fast of a time attack car as it can be. The wings aren't there for decoration. Chris Rado and that car are wicked fast too.

I have never really liked the way the Miata looked, however, this is a really good looking Miata.

I used to hate the Miata. Or, more accurately, the torrential hype surrounding it. I'm also not a fan of convertibles. I've since started to come around.

Although, i have to say that in the photo, i really dislike the headlight cover.

Yeah, I can't say I'm a big fan of them either. Though it looks to me like they were trying for a classic sports car look, maybe? If I was better with cars I might have a better example, but all I can come up with is "classic" haha.

Definitely like this one. Looks really sporty oddly enough, then again that rear glass curved the way it is somewhat reminds me of an RX-7.....that's gotta be it. lol

@Spd229 good call on the similarity to RX7. That's a great design element.
