Mine went into production on the 15/11/12 and as of today its been 10 days since. Anybody know how long is it meant to stay in production for? I would've assumed it'd be shipped off on a boat by now.

Mine took about a month.

Q!

How long does it take to go from

'Scheduled for production' to 'in production'?

my build month is DEC - I'm guessing it will go into production around the 15th ?
Ring your Dealer and he/she will be able to tell you the ACTUAL date the car will come off the line, mine is 21 December!! I'd suggest seeing mine updated to 'Scheduled' late Friday yours will be the same date or next day!!

From reading a few earlier posts it seems about 27 days from 'off the line' to your Dealership' - so I estimate if mine is being built 21 December then I should have it around 6 weeks at most from there

Fair enough, but I did get a phone call 6 days ago from my dealership telling me its already off the line. So really it was in production for about 4 days. So if its off-line, why the 6 day wait before getting on a boat? Just makes no sense.

Could already be on the boat but 'tracking' hasn't updated? Again, maybe someone who has been down that road already can answer!

You car couldn't make the 2 ships that left Yokohama on the 17th. The next ship heading to Australia is on 26th. So I bet your tracking will be updated sometime tomorrow or the day after depending on what time the ship departed.

so if my car just changed to 'in production' on the 25th november when it had an off the line date of 23rd november. does that mean it should be on the boat sometime soon? if not already? my dealer informed me that the car should be at the port 19th december (melbourne). if thats the case why hasn't my online tracker updated to in transit? or does the system only update once a month so that some stages in the delivery process may be skipped?

hope anyone can shed some light please!

Thanks
