Yea, they look pretty cool on the road don't they? A little different from when you are outside the car looking at it parked. Hopefully we should be able to get a good photoshoot come spring. Nice meeting you

It was great to see everyone. We should get together again over the winter even though some of us won't be driving our cars in the snow. Maybe after the holidays. :happy0180:

Happily I put on snow tires and mud flaps just in time...

Looks nice. Remember, they're called 'splash guards'.

Cool

Anyone here pick up the FRS in Brookdale Toyota? The Whiteout? If not, who ever's interested should give 'em a call if the car is still there :}

I just had a beautiful WhiteOut FRS come to my work tonight. (Discount Tire, Brooklyn Park.) Didn't stick around to be serviced, though. 'Anyone on here?

I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving.

Snow on the ground, should be a good test of the snow tires.

Had to break out the winter beater today (98 Impreza). I think mine's in the garage 'till spring. Going to pull the battery after work.

What wheels and tire specs are you running for this winter?

Yeah. I got the tender plus. The non-plus is more for motorcycle batteries.

Are you doing any upgrades to the car over the winter? I figure since it's sitting in the garage I might as well black out the headlights and tails.

Experimental drive early today, because I HAD TO have a couple cups of organic coffee at my favorite shop, The Matchbox. I say experimental, as in scientifically explorative, since I am a voyager on the spaceship Primacy. Nothing catches the imagination like backing out of the garage onto a snow-dusted icy pad and gently braking into a reverse 270° - but ending up pointed at the best logical place of entry for the street. I got a feeling for the abs chatter anytime I braked, all the way to my destination. I only noticed two other cars enroute, and both rolled to a stop all wide-eyed and everything, so I know I was looking good and doing everything right.
