Basically if you see holes and requested none, the Manager/Sales rep didn't tell the PDI people, bad communication, you aren't satisfied, when Scion Canada calls, give them a bad review, they deserve it.

2. Automatic procedure is for the PDI service people drill plates AND/OR remove transportation film

I appreciate your input. You seem to be knowledgeable about the process.

I saw the car after it was delivered to the dealer, before PDI was done, and the bracket was installed.

Bracket was moved down as I requested when PDI was done. The car is in my driveway with shipping film still on it.

The bracket is installed where I want it now, so it's OK.

No I'm just guessing. Perhaps I'm wrong as guessing goes but I'm just annoyed at the lies some dealership feeds customers. As long as you're happy, cheers!

If I had cash in hand sure... but, I don't want the car before spring, so decided to get my order in. Not sure what my other options are, or are you saying I should place an order at several dealers?
Only reason I ordered from DVN was because my local toyota dealer does not carry Scion, the closest dealer that does I don't like.. and DVN was the first dealer to at least let me test drive one.

I was in the same situation. Didn't mind the 5 month wait (was told 6-8 weeks) due to finances.

If you're told 4 months, I would expect longer.

Yeah finance wise the wait is good, but I also chose the delivery date. I hope the car is on time (thats couple days after my bday)
Perhaps when it gets close I will keep my eyes open for any cars where buyer backs out.
