This Yay good credit. No penalty for early payoff, unlike my annoying 6.8% student loans.

You guys interested rate seems very high for someone who has good credit score. My credit was bad and the interested was 2.3%.That was with Toyota. Subaru gave me 5.0 + for a Subaru WRX STI so i walked away.

I have a great score but went with my 2.9 cause i wanted to go with my bank, not toyota. I like all must stuff like my cc, loans, and what not all in one place, makes easier to keep track of.

You just have to join one of a couple of organizations which cost ~$15-20 to join.. one time payment.

Navy FCU is even better in terms of interest rates (or were at least, they were at 1.79 when PFCU was at 1.99) but you have to be a Government, or Gov Contractor on a specific list to qualify.

I am getting mine at 2.4% from a credit union. It looks like several of these posts are from credit unions. You can join a credit union and get good deals on a lot of things since they are not so profit oriented since you are the stockholder not some Boss Hogg raking in your cash. I have bought and financed several things from credit unions and have always been treated better than at most banks. Otherwise they are just like banks with checking, savings, investments, etc. Check one out. My union will even search for the vehicle you want and get the best price they can find.

Going to talk to the bank, than afterwards check out a credit Union near by and see what happens.
Making a good down payment in a few months, and well I don't want to get screwed with interest on like a 6k loan lol.
Spring cant come faster.

On the flip side CU's are *EVIL* if you default. Many will hunt you down forever to get their money back.

Granted in a perfect world no one would default on a car note, but it happens even to people who normally would be a low risk (loss of income, etc.. crap happens).
