MI opti-coating

Hey guys,
So just got my car back from being opti-coated today and wow. First off, I was pretty skeptical about getting it done but thought I should after seeing it first hand and I can safely say I'm so glad I did. The car looks absolutely incredible and beads water better than the most expensive wax I've used. David Fermani who is on the forums here, knows what the hell he is talking about and really took time to explain everything. From what I have read he is by far the most reasonable price wise too. If any of you are considering getting it done, give David a call. He is based in grosse pointe but he often makes trips out to people's houses and is honestly the only one I'd trust with any of my cars. Give him a call at (561) 951-3705!

If anyone is looking for a solid clear bra place, the gents here took very good care of me and were very thorough in their explanation of their process, etc.

Lookin good. I didn't notice the shine difference on the car until I saw my coated SWP next to yours. You'll be happy you decided to do it. Super easy to keep clean.

Looks good! I"ve been speaking with David via pm for when I get my car in Feb.

Would you say the car actually looks better? Shine and gloss? Do you plan on going back in a couple years to get touched up again?

If you have him do the polish as well the car will be MUCH shinier. With my car parked side by side with Cameron's car (before his was coated) it was very obvious that something was done to mine. Wish I had taken a pic with them side by side.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Let me know however I can help! The metallic in these paints are absolutely incredible after being polished to perfection!

Here's a sample:

From what I understand it doesn't need to be touched up or replaced. The difference was made pretty clean when I parked next to another swp brz and the paint looked totally different much more like its under natural light va halogen. The blue really came out. Not to mention water spots are essentially a thing of the past!
