edit: this also sucks for colorado and washington. what the hell are they gonna do now when they get the munchies?

Looked at the store today just to see. The only hostess products they had left were some donettes

Whatever you do, don't eat them when you by them! Find a way to preserve them and maybe they'll be worth something eventually. Doubtful, but you never know.

Heard about this on the radio yesterday... Haha

I don't believe they last "forever"... Best maybe a month or two before they go bad; still the BEST compared to most baked goods.

Someone buy it out and continue it!

Second bankruptcy in 8 years? And this time they requested it because their bakers were striking to protest restructuring that was required by bankruptcy protection. So now the entire workforce gets laid off insyead. Brilliant, Union. Brilliant...

I'm gonna laugh my butt off if this sudden surge in sales keeps them from going bankrupt.....

plus twinkie's can be made at home if you have the time and are willing to google the recipe. If in ten years time I feel the urge to eat a twinkie, then I'll just have the mrs. wipe up a batch.

I got 26 at a local liquor store lol , went to another store and they said they might have some tomr morning lol so ill be getting more tomr! Hahaha this is crazy

It's not a bankruptcy. They've already had two of those. The officially asked a judge for permission to go out of business and liquidate all remaining assets including the various brands.

So about 1/3 of the workforce went on strike (correct me if I'm wrong) and now bout 18,500+ workers are now losing their jobs.

And people wonder why there are no jobs or why companies keep outsourcing jobs outside of the US. Bite the hand that feds ya. *SMH*
