It's a one of piece made for this member. He obviously doesn't have the seat heaters, so it was a good idea to cover that area and get rid of the redundant seat heater plate.

Yes, exactly, they intentionally filled in that part because I don't have buttons there.
Not at all...the center console is held in with like four screws. In fact, in that picture it's not even screwed down. You literally just drop it into place and screw it down. This is the easiest car to remove and install interior panels I've ever had. It's also very, very nice that everything is held together with screws instead of those stupid plastic snaps. |

so do you have to remove the dash to remove the center console or are you getting the dash covered as well?

Or move your seat heater switches to inside the console cutout, right above the power socket, as they look terrible where they are. 10 minutes or less with a Dremel and BOOM! They're relocated.

We are looking at offering JPM customized bits at our dealership. Very VERY interested in everything that you're doing, and what you're planning in the future. It's the customers that dictate what type of things get done afterall. The center console looks great, what's next?
I may get some done on my car as a "demo" for customers to see. After seeing the pictures here, I want to redo my entire interior! Keep the pics coming! Thanks.

Maybe we can help the JPM team prioritize the batch of items? My list:
1) steering wheel w/ alcantara at 12:00 and 6:00, perforated leather at 9:00 and 3:00 - on order 2) centre console in alcantara - on order 3) A and B pillars 4) door pads 5) headliner 6) dash ( due to cost) 7) lower dash w/ glovebox in alcantara - on order 8) e-brake and shift boot in perforated leather to match the wheel - on order Alex will post pics as parts are completed. Should be fun!! Your priorities? Last edited by MiniGuy; 01-26-2013 at 12:36 AM. |
