Sorry, been running around today like the proverbial chicken with his head cut off.

I just talked to the supplier. They quick ran a few bars to replace the ones that got out I know aren't quite right. Those folks who got one that had an issue will get new bars shipped tomorrow.

They will not have bushings, because bushings came with the bars you have right now, no need to get a second set.

I'm going to disappear now as I have to get some addresses over to get this done. Again, I apologize and I am working to fix it. I guess I'll also remind folks I am a Whiteline dealer, so if you get in too much of a wait, I can set you up with one of their solid bars instead. I'm not one to sit here and say my way is the only way.

I don't know for sure... but I'm going to send you one of the reworked ones too, how's that?

Ok, so some new information has surfaced, and it doesn't make me very happy.

Someone tried to order a bar direct from Hellwig (that's who I have make my bars) using a prototype part number. Well, it's my bar.. they will not sell it to you, whoever you are, directly. But I'm very disappointed, and surely thought it would take at least a little longer for someone to try and do an end-run around my hard work. This doesn't sit very well with me to be honest. And while I don't know who it was trying to order it, I know where he must have gotten that part number because I shipped one bar to one customer in a box that had that number on the end of the box. It also has Hellwig's name on it.....

So, let's be clear. The part number is the on on the end of the box, and it's a Strano Performance Part. It's my bar, I had it developed, I am the sole source for it. If the person who got that box and temp part number could kindly tell whoever it is trying to order the bar in this way to stop, I would appreciate it.

Signed,
Disappointed in PA.

That sucks, it's not like it's expensive to buy it from you so i'm thinking this is another vendor looking to copy it??

Only a scumbag would try to steal like that, I hope its no one I know that would stoop to that for $169.

My box has Hellwig and a 4 digit number starting with 8 on it. If I was the only person who got this box with number, you will need to look elswhere for the person trying to order. Its been in my garage since I got it and I have no reason to try and order anymore. Not saying that you are accusing anyone, just a heads up that the number got out a different way.

One box went out with the prototype number on it... I don't know where it went exactly, and at this point I don't much care. I'm covered on my end because it is my design and Hellwig (who makes them for me, and only for me) won't sell that to the general public. It's still very upsetting to say the least, and sad that some people seem to have to act like that.

I should learn to be more shady I guess. Hide everything like a lot of vendors do. I'm not as open as I used to be to general strangers, and this is a big reason why. Luckily my customers still understand that I am open to them.

I'm just getting into this car, as we all are. But this makes what I consider to be **** move #3 so far in the limited time I've been here. Usually that takes a year for 3 big ones like that. I'm seriously disappointed.

Anyway... the replacement bars are on the way today.
