Turrible name is turrrrible.
So many jokes will be made because of the name, from bros, to bras, to brrrz. As if Subarus didn't have enough of a bro image... ...Cool story, brz.* *Courtesy of BRealistic of TCL |

Come on guys, get over it, it's only a name, no one gives a second thought about BRZ sounding like what not... It sounds sporty to me and I never thought about how it sound like bra, bro or whatever until you guys mentioned it.
To little info for so long... makes bored people turn a mouse into an elephant. |

Radically ugly. Whose idea was this? And worse, who approved it?

I would have gone for something from the pleiades, but BRZ isn't too bad - it reminds me of the boxer exhaust.
Edit: This is just the concept's name... Last edited by Neutral_Eyes; 08-23-2011 at 08:43 AM. |

Not really, it looks normal, the logo of the Peugeot RCZ looks more Transformers-ish.

I don't like the name that much either but shouldn't really care. Its just a name. It might grow on us over time. Whats important is the car is coming soon and it should be a great car.

The name is pretty fail imo. Who gets paid to think these things up? It won't deter me from considering the subie version but it certainly doesn't inspire. We knew the Scion name would be quirky... I expected better from Subaru.

Don't get your hopes up. They are showing the "BRZ PROLOGUE technology concept" in Frankfurt, according to the teaser. I think the first time we'll see the production version is at Tokyo Big Sight in December.
Hopefully the concept car will be representative of the final version! |
