wow... fucking A man.
Insult to Miura san... The rocket bunny kit is a work of art, whether you appreciate it on YOUR car is one thing... but the man put his time, energy and savings into designing this kit to OEM standards... and you want to ask where to get a knock off version of it? I've gotten into too many fights about this topic, I'm sick of it. Seibon had like THREE cars at SEMA... and everyone is drooling over them (including me)... but companies like Seibon, VIS, Rota, etc., make money off of people who don't care about innovation... only imitation. True tuners / designers may not care because they will do it just for the sake of passion, but as consumers, you are supporting those who will put them out of business when you buy knock-offs / counterfeits. That, to me, is a tragedy... If it's overpriced, then don't buy it. I understand that feeling all too well. That's why none of my cars have expensive JDM wheels. But I'd rather rock OEM than fake wheels. p.s., TRA Kyoto / Kei san (maker of the Rocket Bunny) is NOT GReddy... GReddy hired them for this joint-collabo kit. That's all. Rocket Bunny is a well-respected style of living / drift aero... I believe it's the same kit that Dai Yoshihara runs on his 240. |

Sorry... one last thing....
You guys know how much a 5th axis laser scanning / 3-D printing machine costs????!?... especially in a 1:1 car scale size??? It's so easy to remold a part after it's already made... try being the first one. I could buy any kit and probably make a mold in my garage that would meet 90% of people's standards... but think about the engineering / artistry it took to COME UP WITH the piece in the first place. I have even spoke to Miura on facebook after being impressed with his passion and success of having so many cars rock his kit in SEMA... and he is very humble and even said that when/if I decide to get a kit of my own, he would like to personally help me out with all the details. That's passion... I'll pay for that man's rent any day over company X just to save a $. |

Honestly for the quality and for how easy it is to fit thats not a bad price. Though you will have to get some custom wheels made.
They also plan on selling piece by piece so if you dont want the rear/front/side lip you could skip on those. |

LoL@all the people freaking about Replica kits.. Same people who are rocking rims by Rota, XXR, Varrstoen, ect.
And +1 to the fella who remarked about this community turning out like the Mustang crowd - good call. Hope it doesn't happen but people love their warranties and would rather make a car look fast vs actually making it fast. |

You're talking around $50k to have the car, kit, wheels/tires, suspension, and a turbo or supercharger kit plus other suspension and brake mods, and that's without doing anything else. Not something you're gonna do working part time at PepBoys.... Let's get real.

I dont' think the price is bad at all...
Kit w/o wing ~$2500'ish...who pays msrp??? Wing ~$900-$1200...I plan on a kognition wing with custom stands Sure its gonna need body work and that varies... You're gonna buy wheels and suspension regardless if you're widebody or not. there are plenty of fair priced 5x114.3 18x10.5 wheels available. offset in the range of 10-15et. some 5x100 -> 5x114.3 adapaters are gonna space them out minimum 15mm and you're right in the range you need to be. Price out some voltex evo stuff and see where you're at!

Coming from experience dealing with high end body kit companies and replica kits. The biggest difference is the mold. Replica companies will use there mold to create 1000+ kits where high end companies will use a mold much less. For instance Amuse uses there mold 5 times before it gets destroyed and a new mold is made.

This kit is gorgeous. Its a shame to even put it on without a lot of engine, suspension, and chassis work. Sorry, but until you spend at least $10k else where on the car and want to track it, dont bother with this kit. Its wasted on your shallow pockets and over sized self-esteem.

For the sake of argument, I am a Fan of products that works. Sometimes, I just can't justify tracking my car with a 2500 front bumper. Sometimes if its simple and it works, then I would just stick with the replica. Not all replicas are bad (fitment wise). There is also the moral argument.
You guys just can't hate on people just because they can't justify to spending money on 2800 rims without tires, 2300 gruppe M intake system, and 5K+ widebody kit without paint. Moreover, think about all these exhaust and intake manufacturers. They essentially copied JDM manufacturers and made it their own. Yet the majority on the forum seems to like these "copy-cats". |

I'm sure there are some cheap kits that fit well... but the vast majority don't. Save yourself the headache.
