I'm 90% sure about going FI. It's a debate between that and picking up another WRX to play with instead and yes these threads will not make my decision. However for me I'd much prefer the positive displacement SCs assuming they work as well as I would expect and they prove to be reliable. However I have no ruled out the centrifugal. There are many first time car owners here, and many more that have lower levels of car modding experience so guys like you have an opportunity to point out the key points. My only hope is those that do have the experience and knowledge do so in independent threads rather than too many negative comments in the vendor's threads as we have all seen.
Have to agree with you here, i was pretty set on FI with the Innovate kit but i'm not a big fan of the intercooler setup on it and don't know if i would want to risk non intercooled in this part of the country especially. I will most likely stay NA with E85 tune and full intake/exhaust setup. There is an intake manifold that may be coming along too which would be pretty cool.

I think a water / methanol injection system would really help with iat's and knock resistance as well. I would be nice if they were to put some threaded holes in the manifold for this purpose.

Good idea. I'm assuming you're meaning to do this after the blower.

However, the problem is how to properly disperse and equally deliver the meth. There's no space there and you might have to run one nozzle per runner. Not impossible but seems a little involved to tune. You'd have to keep track of the IAT as well which means an individual IAT sensor per runner.

With that said, I'd love to see someone put a solution like together and thoroughly test it. I'd buy this over the laminova aftercooler solution being proposed here. It should be 1/4 the price too.

I had not fooled with the the Meth injection since my DSM 12 years ago but recently my buddy did it with his V6 MR2 with the roots blower. I forgot it's a bit more of a pain in the butt than I remember though it gave a nice safety margin. I'd surely go the A/W route in my case.

I see now.

So you feel that those who aren't going to buy are not worthy. And those who are going to buy it should be grateful when the manufacturer deems them ready to bestow information on them, and only them. For to let the unwashed masses know details about the product is to dirty it and make it less holy.

So from now on, anyone who wants to post anything in this thread, or make any comment about this product, MUST post a picture of their cashed check or credit card statement to Innovate for the privledge.

You know, you're right. Let's also ban anyone from the entire forum who doesn't own one of these cars. What possible good would they have to contribute? They're just freeloaders and their thoughts and opinions only lessen us as a whole.

....

Sorry, I don't believe in elitist crap like that. This is a FORUM.

Hello all! We are have been, and currently are, cranking away on our supercharger systems for the FR-S and BRZ platforms. I know it is difficult to be patient, but I will say that good things come to those who wait. (Not much of a consolation, but it is true. ) Our goal is to ensure that when we release our products to the public that they are 100% ready for prime time, leaving no room for speculation. This is why we have not and will not release any information on horsepower, specific kit components, etc. When you see a dyno graph, it will represent the product in it's production form. Tweaks to the components contained, and minor manifold design changes effect these numbers which is why we keep this development information close to the vest. I can say with confidence that the kit will fall right in line with what one would expect from a positive displacement supercharger of this size and layout; and should not disappoint those that appreciate the advantages of this form of forced induction. I am very excited with where we are at in the development process and believe that when we come to market, we will be hard to beat when one balances kit cost, power delivery and visual impact.

I agree with Draco. It's not like they are reinventing the wheel here. They jumped the gun to let us know a kit is in the works and to keep them in mind for us that WILL buy a kit. They don't want us buying someone elses kit first. Its all wait and see.

I'm fine with waiting as long as I have a date to look forward to.
can you guys let us know when you are expecting to have a dyno with official numbers?
