Hello just got my carbon fiber dash cover pieces that i had custom made. Uses double sided adhesive tape.
Would you guys think its a good idea to start selling them?

Double sided tape? I don't know, it definitely looks good, but it appears to be pretty thin too. Seems like it would be really easy to ruin whenever you need to pull it out. If it were a replacement for the two trim pieces rather than a cover then I would totally buy one.

I originally wanted direct replacement pieces, but it will cost too much to make.

Hmm im with everyone else on possibly ruining it when you go to pull it off anytime. Then again i would have no problem experimenting with velcro to hold it on. Then it could come off easier when needing to take off the dash panels.
I would hope this could be under $150 shipped. Maybe a group buy in the future?

I was thinking of doing this myself as the kits on ebay are decently cheap.

Could you show us close up pictures of the fitment? Can you see any of the silver plastic underneath, or does it look like a direct replacement if you didn't know it was stick-on? I'm VERY interested.

How exactly does the passenger airbag deploy???

wouldn't this interfere with its function since that is all one piece?

The air bag deploys from the black flat part. Between the silver and the windshield.

Looks awesome! Not a huge fan of CF layovers using 3M tape, if you don't get fitment right the first time, your in trouble and you will more than likely crack or break the CF or clearcoat trying to reposition. You really only get one shot to get it right!

But looks amazing! Pricing will play a factor on this one for me

There still some fitment issues with it, im sending it back to fix it.
It might take some time because the shop is in japan.
