I wonder how it would be as well. I'm not a fan of the way the AP header is designed. I prefer a 4:1 collector design my self which is why I chose to go custom since one isn't released yet. I would love to see 190 whp with these rims on.

Looking at the way ur header had a positive gain throughout the power band i think 190 would be achievable with a tune. The tune seems to be really positive in the midrange area and your header seems to be positive in the torque dip and gives a little bump on the top end ur set up wud be bad ass with a tune. Add an exhaust and 200 might be possible. Either way kudos to the header! Keep us updated with any new info:happy0180:

Impressive low end gains! I bet it feels pretty good on the road? Also, great example showcasing what the Ecutek tune adds to the stock tune. This is making me re-think adding a header even with its added db's...

Agreed--it sounds plain angry in the upper rev range--very nice...

You could audibly hear when it hit the TQ dip on the dyno when it almost seemingly bogged.

I definitely want a header on my car for some added power & weight savings (competition purposes), but seeing that I'm getting old, want something relatively quiet when just cruising around--so what exhaust w/ this (if it becomes available) header would give me that? I'd like a HF cat as well to help quell the sound.

BTW, the car looks great. STi brakes? What rims? Nicely done...

AND, how do I buy this header? lol

Thanks for the video, looks very nice.

An observation: the thread title should be changed, because this is not a UEL header. It might be marginally different, but certainly not enough to qualify it as UEL. The stock header itself was about 30% different in length and even that one did not qualify fo UEL (qualification based on if it makes the signature sound Subaru UEL headers make).

Not bashing your thread or the header. Looks very good!

Thanks @Do Boy for taking pics for me and thanks to the owner of Inline Racing for giving me a chance to put my car on the dyno :happy0180: I will probably be switching to Inline Racing's header in the near future. I have a video of my car on the dyno also if anyone was interested in hearing what the full ap header + exhaust sounds like.

Have to say that sounds pretty tempting, i was holding off till boost was a little more established but it seems that 200whp is attainable NA with tuning and a few more things. So this is just the header, custom intake and the overpipe, stock catback and stock tune?

Yup. And the way the header is designed. It's can be made for turbo later. Just gotta figure out how to route the up pipe. That's why he went with v band clamps

That up pipe with the v bands is amazing. How much for a set up like this, any intentions on mass producing it. With the gains shown, I think the community will be all over it.

I have talked to the owner. He says he will try to mass produce it if there is enough demand. He hasn't figured out a price, but it won't be on the cheaper end. But you get the header, over pipe, and mid pipe. With the v-bands.
