I am thinking of doing the same thing. 40% definitely. I don't think you will get much effectiveness with 50%. Here is a Z with 40% tint for reference.

I got 30% all around. Seeing out at night is not a problem at all, in fact I frequently wish I could get it darker legally.

I stuck them in the top corner of the mirror and it doesn't look too bad I think. It makes all the difference too, I hate the huge blind spot when I am trying to change lanes. These things were like 2 bucks at autozone.

No pictures yet but just picked my Raven FR-S up and had 20% on all windows.

Those in the Raleigh, NC area I highly recommend Tinted Atmosperes!

Taking it back in 2 weeks for touch up and photo shoot. Was the first of the twins they have seen / done.

I got 5% in the back and 15% in the front. People always looking into my car and i hated it. Thinking about doing 5% all around
and it is extremely hard to see when your backing up. Its as if you dont have reverse lights..

50% front
20% back

imo, 20% is a bit dark for night driving. you can't really tell how dark it looks form some picture, it's better to look from the inside of a real car with tinted window to get an idea. Do the same in daylight and nighttime.

Here's a question (couldnt find it anywhere if already asked sorry). What do you guys do after getting tint on the passenger/driver side doors, and since we cant open the window for a few days, what do you guys do about the automatic window opening/closing when opening/closing the door?

A lot of shops can deal with that, the one I went to went over the tops of the door glass with a heat gun when they were done to dry it out a bit. Afterwards he went over the edge with a fine file to blend the edge to the glass, I haven't had any issues what so ever.

As far as what I got, I did 35% all around and wish I would have went with 20%. No pictures of it right now.

I've got 3M CR50 on all the windows. 50% crystalline has a perfect balance of good light transmissibility and heat rejection. I wanted 35% but didn't want to risk having to remove expensive film (So-Cal cops will give fix it tickets).
