My dad would always wear old clothes when he goes car shopping, so they think he has no money and will probably finance/lease. he'll talk them down as much as possible, hinting at financing, then comes back a few days later and pays it in a lump cash sum, hahaha, the looks on their faces. like a child getting socks for Christmas....

I looked for one years ago and couldn't find one locally for under 4K. Their value went up within the last decade. Prices aren't as bad a 2.5RS but still overpriced unless the car needs more than an average amount of work. Friend of a friend has a turbo Miata...allegedly very fast.

Turbo Miatas are awesome. This 2k Miata is ready for a turbo, already has fuel, oil, and cooling prepared (even came with a fat FMIC), my buddy just needs a Turbo and Mani.

One of the dudes in the Club has a Turbo NB Miata. He is only making about 7-8psi of boost, but with ~190whp, it's still FAST.

Hmm, in mythology I think you needed a virgin to catch a unicorn. I wouldn't hold my breath for that roommate. Heh...
