Pete called me back while i was at the store, the $299 price is over but they may do a combo deal with the filter. I have to give him a call back tomorrow to get the details.

@phenom86, have you heard this in relation to a single exit track pipe? I'm trying to gauge the volume before buying. Sounds great though.

We used an single exit on the car before we decided with this set up. The single exit was way too loud and it droned inside the cabin, made my jaws hurt and gave me a headache.

For $375 shipped i really think i'm just going to spend a little extra and get a full cat back. I don't know about those claims on the air filter either, seems really high for just a filter replacement.

We dyno'd the car with and without the filter... nothing was changed on the dyno, we just took off the OEM filter and placed that filter and did three runs on the dyno and thats what we got.

Any dB tests done on the axle back? I'd like to shave some weight for sprints and considering this, but road legal exhausts are required in the series i'd like the join. I think maximum is 91dB at 4250RPM.

i havent done alot of dB testing but i got 64dB in cabin at 70 mph cruising speed, is that 91dB at stand still or rolling?

Ah sorry, I should have been more descriptive. Officially here, the results are taken from outside the cabin at the exhaust of the car, 1 meter away at a 45 degree angle, whilst the car is free revving at 2/3 of its peak power. It's all a bit anal over here and I wasn't expecting any concrete results, but though it'd be worth a shot!

This exhaust is quite loud, a little bit more drone than I want. Although I like how super light it is I'm thinking of adding sound deadening material in the trunk to lessen the inside noise, sounds awesome outside though
