Through this experience I definitely recommend getting something other than the Whiteline top hats. I'll be looking into getting the Vorshlags in the near future.
thanks for your update.

please find out exactly what's wrong with the top hat (sounds like faulty bearing which someone experienced on this forum http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=201). also please enquire if the spacer is the only mod needed to fit Com C onto KW.

thanks in advance. i hope you will enjoy this setup. mine is getting fitted this Friday.

sad to read this

How would you guys compare a KW3+vorschlag setup VS say Ground control's offerings(eibach custom with koni race)?
unbiased, non price related performance and driver feedback is what I am seeking here

is KW3 best matched with Vorschlag or are there any other options to consider?

I'm actually using Group N top mounts for the STi on mine. It was recommended to me by Race comp. they said not to use the white line and this would be the best offering for me right now. Group Ns up front and stock rear top hats.

Yeah, same here.

After the first top hats were marked as 'faulty', I had a replacement set put in, picked up the car and a day later, knocking noise again. MRT are now waiting on Whiteline to see what they have to say about it. It's been a frustrating experience to say the least, definitely looking into a new set of strut tops right now.

KMac site. See the Stage 3 Full Race strut top. Similar to the front Subaru ones including price.

Don't need full race. For me the car isn't a track car, it's a street car with some track use.
Still, quite expensive anyway.

If my com c turns out to be faulty I'd just run stock and be done with.

Bad part is, they are not adjustable. They're from the 08-11 WRX STi, it was recommended to me from RaceComp due to the issues going on with Whiteline.

I've just been in contact with Whiteline.
A batch of bearings from their supplier were faulty.
They've recalled most of them but a few have found their way into cars.
They have now changed suppliers are are enforcing strict QA measures so this doesn't happen again.

I have them on my car and haven't had any issues.
