The form is under John's signature. Go back to page 1 and it will explain how to flash.

Do you not have the cable? John's tune can be applied with your own laptop so long as you have a cable with USB dangle.

Just wanted to drop in for some input on my requested flash that I received from John.. I basically didn't want the AFR, Autoblip (I like to heel-toe on my own), Gas tank percentage, etc- pretty much all the stuff that seemed glitchy.

Here's my setup:
Map 1- Stage 1 Tune- Flat footed shifting, launch control, raised rpm limit
Map 2- e85 Tune- Flat footed shifting, launch control, raised rpm limit

These tunes were dyno-tuned to my bolt-ons when I went to the Connecticut Weapons Grade Performance dyno day (which was an awesome time). Honestly, this is an amazing product. I drove 10 days on a stock tune, and once I flashed my car--pure bliss. It pulls like it should, with a nice broadened torque band with no noticeable torque dip.

One thing I feel like posting on the DIY or just on this branch of the forum is my "Driver's Car" setup. I have adjusted all three pedals feel and/or positioning along with the BPS short shifter. Combine it with John's tune, it's a great setup.

Thanks John!

I like the autoblip (had it on a 370Z) but don't know why you need to hit the brake first to activate it or why it's designed to operate only above 40 mph.

Thanks John @Visconti for your patience and prompt replies, I flashed my FR-S and I am happy with the results. I found the answer on how to change maps watching your youtube video.

Thanks John for the quick turn around.

The new flash makes the old flash feel like stock power. The only query I have is with the map switching, there is no indicator eg. CEL that says which map I am using.

I hold it down it goes to 1 and then you can choose a map. Not an issue but just checking if this what it is meant to do.

Send the data logs to John. He'll review them then make any changes required.

Im not sure if i understand the question. Were you expecting something to show which map you're on at all times?

When you choose a map up pushing up or down on the cruise control stock the tach will indicate 1,2,3, or 4. Pull forward on the cruise control stock to select that map and return the tach to normal operation.

Was looking at the youtube vid and says that the CEL is meant to turn on when you choosing maps. My intial flash had the cruise and CEL light on, which John fixed very quicklySo I with my issues, I was just referring back to the youtube vid. But if no light is meant to turn on, then it is working fine and loving the extra tiger nuts power.

Yeah, in following the posts I think they switched from using a light to just the tach.

Hey John, just curious - have there been any performance gains in the stg1 tune for pump gas people? Or does the most recent flash still produce 8-12 whp? Thanks!
