Ok, so sometimes a brotha's got to rant...

When did it become OK for aftermarket manufacturers to put 5 inch tips on their exhausts?

It's not OK. Stop it. 5 inches is so big. I can see straight through and can see the 2.5inch pipe at the other end. Like wtf.

God. I hate it.

Btw, I AM GONNA BE DRIVING A MIATA AT AUTOX TOMORROW!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!! It's gonna be sweeeeeeeetttttt!!

lol, the finger exerciser I bought broke in 50 minutes. Stupid "pistons" were held on by mini plastic tabs. Was using it slightly unconventionally, finger slipped off, the spring knocks itself clear out of the contraption. Ah well, it was only 6 bucks.

Indeed. That was my thought originally. Yes, the government needs better quality control, and I think some of them are doing that already. They need to follow the good business practices to govern themselves with highest standard. Using any practice to improve themselves is always good, be it be (Lean) Six Sigma, DMAIC, Root-Cause Analysis, PMBOK/PRINCE2, whatever.

Thanks for the discussion.

You will not notice people with common sense because they blend in. You only notice people with no common sense because they stand out. So, to make you famous to get that 15 minutes fame, you should behave with no common sense.

Isn't typing a finger exercise? So to exercise your finger, keep typing.

Oh, unless you mean something that is piano related...

Saw some stooge in a BRZ on 95 today, weaving through heavy traffic like he owned the place.

This guy is the first I've seen who's driven an FT86 like an ass. Most people drive them responsibly.

I hope he learns to slow down before he gets himself killed.

I got this from a guy at work, he's starting to call it common nonsense as that fits the actual situation better.

Most of the things you've posted look delicious. This, though, made me threw up a little. How did you even construct such an abomination let alone eat part of it?

Went to a dealership with a girl-friend. Sales people kept passing us up for others.
No help, not even a "How are you guys today?". This was at a Toyota dealership.

I tell ya man I get no respect. I swear I only get respect when I wear my business suit. But when going casual, nope.

So rude. What dealer? I need to visit one sometime to get touchup paint for my car... Also what is "casual"?

Autowest Toyota of Hayward.

Casual is for me is just vans, jeans, zip up sweater, t-shirt, and wool-cap. Maybe it's because I look young and don't look like I can afford to buy a vehicle on my own; even though, I'm 24 and have cash and girlfriend is a RN so she definitely can buy her own car since she still lives with her parents.

*Sighs*

That's weird, I feel like at that age a lot of people start to look into cheaper new cars...this is a Toyota dealership afterall, aren't Camries and Corollas and Yarii (lol) popular cars for that demographic?

First off, congrats on the GF.

Secondly, I f'in hate that!!! Now that I'm in my 30's it doesn't happen much anymore, but when I was shopping to have my house built when I was 24 it was VERY hard to be taken seriously. We walked away from a couple of great builders (by reputation) and awesome lots because of this.

I found your problem right here, haha. You didn't have the smell of finance commission coming off of you.

related:
My dad would always wear old clothes when he goes car shopping, so they think he has no money and will probably finance/lease. he'll talk them down as much as possible, hinting at financing, then comes back a few days later and pays it in a lump cash sum, hahaha, the looks on their faces. like a child getting socks for Christmas....
