Sorry to hear dude... I had the same thing happen to my tC (while I was at work) when I had it back in the day. It was just on the market then like the FRS is now. Also, I was at a party and had some dude pour a beer all over it. And lastly, in front of my house some kids drove through our neighborhood and shot a bunch of cars with compressed air pellet guns. Destroyed the $1100 piece of glass for the rear hatch and put three other dents and chips in the paint on the rear quarter panel.
Just jealous people attacking people who work to have nice things. But talk about things that will make me rage, vandalism is very near the top of that list. |

OP, Really sorry for your misfortune. I live in a pretty rural place, but if I have to go into one of the "bigger" cities in Maine, I take the OB wagon. Pretty bad when you have to choose a different car due to people that do stuff like that. Something else I've noticed, people cutting me off with their shitbox old Buick or pickup truck, I Just wave a friendly hello and go on my way, EXCUSE ME for doing 15mph in a school zone... Sheeesh.

Is it just me or does it seem to be primarily Scion fr-s that gets vandalized at a higher rate? I'm going to blame TC owners!

Sorry to hear about your car!, I thought my area was bad...
Its the worst feeling when someone ELSE does it , not when you do it to your own car. Someone did the same on my drivers side. |

OT: so sorry to hear man :/ hope everything gets fixed soon
however, this does bring up a good point. what are the best ways to "secure" your car? what are you guys doing to prevent this to your own cars? im getting my car in a couple of months and personally, im contemplating between a wrap or full plasti dip. what do you guys think? i dont like wraps or plasti dips but i guess its a sacrifice i have to make |

+1 blackvue camera in parking mode! And treat it like a Lambo and be paranoid about parking. I pretty much only park in a closed garage or corner parking.

If that happens to me, I'd probably black out from anger. I just hope I don't catch anyone doing that while in the act... who knows what I would do. Those pictures got me a little light headed.

Thinking about it I may go the 3 view camera deal, at least the 5-O will have something to go on plus if I know them... they will feel much pain.

So I picked up my car yesterday, looks good as new except the most minor of paint in-perfections (about the size of a pin head) but I'll let it slide. I can't believe the total bill came out to $1,488, whoever keyed my car knew what they were doing and how to run up the cost. Thankfully, I only had to pay my deposit, $250, but I don't really feel a connection to the car anymore
. It just feels like damaged goods to me.
