I thought the majority of the fans cared more for the online play? The campaign still accounts for being very important, but online matches is where its at.

So... was thinking...

Could you imagine if the government processes and activities met the Six Sigma quality standard?

What I mean is, for instance, social security worked on a six sigma quality level.

http://money.cnn.com/2012/07/18/pf/i...ased/index.htm

http://www.cnn.com/2012/08/21/justic...ned/index.html

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/26...omment-page-9/

http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/26/pf/s...cam/index.html

I honestly feel like better processes and quality control/checks could be implemented. Like being able to acquire social security payouts from the deceased is a huge problem.

Not saying everything should be perfect but there really needs to be something implemented to check the quality of the work being done. Granted six sigma quality standard would be way too hard to achieve... I just feel that there should be something implemented.

Why would you think the Six Sigma quality standard will help these cases?

You can document and triple check the process to ensure it is properly done. However, as long as it is done by human, there are bound to have mistakes happening. Six Sigma is not the *Perfect Process* that can be blindly applied to everything to save the world. It is merely a mathematical terms of 3.4 error in one million products produced. So in order to reach that kind of quality control, how many layers of verifications are required to achieve that, and how much money the government can produce (urrr... they do not generate revenue, stupid, my bad..) to sustain such a program?

On the bright side, you can ask the government to continue improving their process, if the money is spent on the right stuff. But we are venturing into political avenue here which I do not want to continue.
