Screenshots from the Dsport dyno runs

Instead of having to sit through each vid, i posted a screenshot of the Dsport dyno runs which includes the company name, exhaust name, Part #, MSRP, on-dyno dB, dyno chart, and product images. I've captioned each image with the weight of the exhaust as measured by Dsport.

enjoy

Please Note: For some reason Dsport decided to zoom in on the dyno charts for the ASR muffler delete, and the Berk cat back. The scale of these two graphs are different from the other graphs. Keep this in mind when looking at the gains as they will appear larger than they are.

Agency Power weight: 25.2 lbs

ASR delete weight: 2.5 lbs

Berk cat back weight: 33.4 lbs

Berk delete weight: 3.8 lbs

Greddy Evo3 weight: 34.8 lbs

HKS weight: 36.6 lbs

Isis weight: 33.6 lbs

Magnaflow weight: 36.4 lbs

MXP weight: 40.8 lbs

Perrin non-resonated weight: 29.2 lbs

Perrin resonated weight: 33.6 lbs

I wonder if they're gonna do a part 2. There are plenty of systems still missing from this shoot out namely the single out cat back options as well as the titanium options. Surprised to see the nameless and invidia systems didn't make the shoot out as they're currently on shelves.

I cant find any info on this ASR ..all i keep getting is bmw stuff...can anybody provide a link to wear it can be purchased or anyinfo on the pipe itself

never mind didnt notice it was a track pipe...single muffle looks silly on a car slotted for two..at least imo...might have to check out the works and berk muffler delete with the two pipes. if i wanted to add the front pipe to one of the muffler delete pipes i still can right?

LOL. No surprise Agency Powers gains were all inflated in their thread. Look at their numbers compared to stock. Then look at their dynos from their thread.. I feel bad for anyone who bought their cat back.

Agency Power/Vivid Tuning charge almost just as much as Perrin for their crappy exhaust and just compare the numbers of the 2. With Perrin you are paying for a USA made exhaust with proper R&D and great gains. AP/Vivid on the other hand is a shady company that their vendor on this forum claims there exhausts are made in USA when they are actually made in Taiwan or China make nothing close to what they claim charge just as much. There site even states that. Also claim they do R&D when their R&D is just copying another vendors hard work. They come on these forums lying to everyone to make a quick buck.

They claimed they have changed owners and changed which is complete bull. Theirs a reason why they are banned on every major Subaru forum as a vendor. Shady business practices, lies, and selling parts they claimed that are made in USA that are actually made in Taiwan/China. You are better off buying from a company like Megan that charges what you should be paying for an exhaust that's similar.
I really am getting tired of the AP/VR bashing from so many misinformed people. The AP exhaust showed gains over the entire rpm range, what is there to be disappointed by. Different dyno's show different gains.

I was just at Vivid racing a couple days ago to purchase a Seibon hood, and Whiteline rear sway bar when i got to talk to the manager of Agency Power. He took me around to the back of the garage and showed me that they have 3 guys working back there welding up the AP cat back exhausts in an effort to get them out to customers who have ordered, while they are waiting for the Chinese manufacturer to finish up their production. I was in the shop when they were still prototyping the damn exhaust too, running back to back dyno's in an effort to get gains from the exhaust.

Agency Power is a small AMERICAN company, they don't have the facilities to produce these exhausts in bulk, so they send a design they made to a Chinese manufacturer to make in bulk. When the Chinese manufacturer finishes a copy they send it back to the States to be tested and confirmed for quality. I've seen the hand made in the VR shop exhausts back to back with the Chinese production ones and you couldn't tell the difference. If there were companies in America that could manufacture these parts for the same amount of money and as quickly as the Chinese can, I am sure that's where these would be manufactured, but you can thank our unions and taxes for making it hard to make a profit here in America.

Also considering that AP has such a small workforce, they also cater to a lot of other brands of cars from Scions to Ferrari's and Lambo's. So get off your high horse, when you start your own business and become successful then maybe you can talk about the business practices of a small American company. Until then I would suggest you come to Phoenix so you can vist the VR/AP shop yourself. They are some of the best people I have ever dealt with concerning parts for my toys.

That being said I don't have an AP exhaust either, I'm getting a P&L full exhaust to go along with my P&L Stage 1 turbo that's in the mail. I am not a fanboy of AP or VR for that matter I just get sick of the internet know it alls that don't know anything other than what the other internet tough guys have to say.

If you don't like the AP power gains don't buy them, no one is forcing you. All you do is sound like a petulant child who parrots the beliefs of others without doing any research yourself.

Feel free to respond so that I can shoot holes through your rhetoric once again, I love the opportunity to educate the ignorant.

Looks like the Evo 3 was the second quietest actually. I'm surprised.

Looks like the muffler deletes are the best bang for the buck...i might get the works muffler delete and use the extra money and get other stuff..

works muffler delete 350
zeta intake tube 130
e85 tune 350
total-830 bucks

Ark exhaust 1150.

Still leaves me enough to get a the invidia catless front pipe if it works and im hoping to get at least 13+hp from just the bolt ons and the extra 15-20hp from the e85..ill be happy
