Would I only be able to get this part from the dealer? I haven't seen too many places online selling replacement BRZ parts. Thank you all for your responses!
I suggest that you stop by a repair shop and talk with them. They can give you a written estimate or just some advice and verbal estimate. You can then decide if you want to contact your insurance company.

Let us know how it works out. Whether you went to insurance company or not and, if not, what it cost for 'self insurance'.

insurance, insurance, insurance not even a question here. Get it fixed right.

A quick look, I see a new bumper cover, paint, and paint blending. I also would not be surprised if the headlight is cracked. If you see moisture in it soon, it is. I had my old WRX hit by hail, turned it in for $100 comprehensive deductable and it came back to me looking fresher than ever!

My $.02

Assuming you can buy a painted one, there is $1000 worth of damage there even if you do it yourself.

Been where you are with a 5 month old Miata and it really sucks. I did the comprehensive and all was good.

This is why my comprehensive insurance has a deductible of $50.

It's going to cost you way more than $500. When I replaced my fr-s bumper, just to paint it and paint blend with surrounding panels cost $400. The unpainted bumper costs $400 roughly. You probably have broken clips etc. Headlight would be another $500 easy. Just to give you an idea, when I got hit, I had a damaged fender, cracked bumper, cracked headlight, damaged fender braces, cracked parking light and scuffed wheel. Total cost of parts and labour was $8000.
