I'm in love already
Congrats. I'm stuck on Mopac every morning too -- Northbound. I take 360 south home though if Mopac looks too busy after work.

Yeah, the traffic home is ridiculous 360 or Mopac. On average I spend 45 minutes - an hour on Mopac from 183 all the way down to 360.

I don't know where you live, but my buddy who works up near spicewood/360 has started to take 183 to 290 to 130 all the way down to 45. I am going to give that a try today. I know its probably an extra 7-10 miles but could save a ton of time.

Yea. It's terrible. I live south central -- south of Wm Cannon and S. 1st and work around Mopac and Spicewood Springs. It used to take just over 20 minutes to get to work, now I'm lucky if it takes 45. 2222 to 360 and home is quite faster if the traffic on Mopac is heavy going home even though it adds 5 miles to my trip.

What time do you usually leave work? I may see you on 360 today around 430, I haven't taken that route home in a while, and since I just got my FR-S, I might as well. I decided not to take that long convoluted route home - adds like 15miles.

On lunch today I took spicewood from 183 - back down to 360, it was my first spirited/curvy road drive; was a ton of fun.

^^ I leave work much later -- around 6pm -- and Mopac is still often bumper to bumper @ 2222.

Have you tried 2222 (turns into Bullock Hollow Rd after 620) all the way through Lime Creek Rd. It's an awesome drive -- especially the Lime Creek Rd. part. It's not on anyone's way home, lol, but a great drive nonetheless.

Already planned on doing the Lime Creek drive this Saturday! After the horns game of course.

Just an FYI, CentexVQ is holding a benefit car meet tomorrow morning. All cars are welcome and I'm sure they'd appreciate seeing some FRS/BRZ there.

After ordering on 11/11, got word from my dealer yesterday that they snagged an Ultramarine 6 speed manual with all options from the port on Monday and it is being shipped to their dealership and I should have it by the end of this week. I'm excited like a little kid getting an early Christmas present! Thought I would have to wait longer like everyone else, but I lucked out it seems.

I'll be driving around the Round Rock/183 area.

2nd person hit my BRZ today. Scrape-and-run in the Maudie's N Lamar parking lot. Plenty of spaces, but they *had* to cram in next to mine.
