It's still in the 90's here but next month when it cools off I might not drive the frs as much and put the top down in the z28

If you plan to park it for a while, add a fuel stabilizer at minimum. Maybe put it on jack stands to avoid flat spotting tires or frozen parking brakes. Battery tender?
There's probably a list somewhere online of how to store a car for 5 months. |

I would rubberized-coat paint the entire under body parts to prevent it from corrosion. Sometimes, you can't avoid taking the car for a ride.

Krowned today
At 46. I don't have many winters left compared to some. With the Krown and sick days for when it snows I should be fine. I just can't bring myself to drive a POS for 5 months all the while staring at the car daily. That's like banging Rosie O'donell while Sofia Vegara is calling out for you but you can't have her. Sorry about your loss of lunch guys.

Mine get's garaged. In the past however, when I have no choice, I've used a product called LPS 3 http://www.lpslabs.com/product_pg/co...n_pg/LPS3.html
I would cover all the parts underneath that I think would start to oxidize quick and even strategically under the hood. Then, in the summer, I would power wash it off. and wipe the visible areas down. I also had a lift at my disposal so that helped. Love this stuff. |

I'm surprised by how many people are going to garage the car. Funny how some people call this a "summer car", what??
Its even more funny that some guys going to garage the car are the same guys who bitch and moan about how majority of these cars will rarely be on a track.

will be inside, wheels off, on stands, full tank of ethanol free with stabilizer. as stated above I have some stuff to do, so being immobile for a couple months won't be too bad on me. |

Do it. I would do the same if I'm in a heavy snow area.

Just but a 12$ can of rust check and spray that crap all over the suspension component and small areas under like the hangers, etc…. This will preserve the fasters and slow down surface rust. |
