That hood is perfect! I was originally thinking of that hood for my car, but plain c/f. After seeing this one painted, that is DEFINITELY the way to go. So beautiful. Great job on the build!

So just out of curiosity, with the Seibon hood do you need to use the "hood pin latches" or was that more for the looks. I am on the verge of pulling the trigger on that hood but would prefer to not need the pins.

You should always use hood pins with carbon hoods - whatever the brand.

I would recommend hood pins on any lightweight carbon fiber hood just to be safe. I am not sure if they are required or not, but I rather be on the safe side.
