^^^ This. You buy the product and how you install it is up to you not Perrin. If a shop did the first install they are at fault for the rattling. If you did it then you can most likely fix it.

Maybe I saw it wrong. I though I saw that there was a $200 difference.

It's easy for you to say that, but you're not the one with the issues. Also, the shop that did my install did a good job. Everything was installed properly and tight. The rattle developed later and it's every so slightly getting worse. It seems that there are other AT owners having similar issues so it's most likely not an install issue. I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this so me and other potential owners won't have to experience the same problems.

This.

I've had it looked at by two highly reputable shops in my area. Found no issues. Perrin has acknowledged it and is currently investigating.

I really hope they can find a resolution to this problem, because I love my Perrin exhaust.

Nice write up but the one picture I wanted was of the hangers. My 4x OEM ones at the muffler have been jumping off the chassis hooks and spitting the muffler onto the ground, since the stoppers on the chassis hooks are a lot smaller diameter than the stoppers on the exhaust hooks.

Anyway I guess I will just try some aftermarket hangers and see if they stay on. My full Perrin exhaust is coming this week hopefully and really really don't want to scratch the tips/muffler.

If you mean raspy then no. My car has the full exhaust they provide with an unresonated CBE and it is raspy around 3000-3300rpm then it goes back to sounding good. I hate raspy and it is still bareable.

I think he meant the rattle issue that we, AT owners, are having. It seems only some AT owners are having this issue, but stay tuned we're working with the guys at Perrin, who have been more than helpful, in trying to resolve the issue. Stay tuned.

BTW, no rasp in my non-resonated Perrin CBE at all.

Update: They're sending me out a new, and different, mid pipe to try out. I'm hoping this will solve my problem, because I love my Perrin CBE! Thanks to Chris at Perrin!
