The SS was faster, and fit me better (I'm the stereotypical fat white American), but too common. I ended up with my FR-S because its more fun to drive and gets noticed more. No regrets at all, I love that thing. |

Me too at times but most times Im like "F it" and just happy I have the car lol. But i decided that if a TRD or STi makes factory production, ill trade up and get a stick definitely for those. If not I'll just slap a supercharger on my auto and go lol.

That you have no regrets says a lot about the FR-S :thumbsup

You could've potentially had the IMS issue on the Cayman, so you never know how things will turn out.

Me too. I always feel like returning/exchanging things because I'm never happy (even did that with a car once) but this purchase is the first in a long time I only wish I did sooner. Glad I got manual or I would probably have regrets. So much fun!

is a huge tease. ohh and originaly this car was purchased for my wife to have a cheap sexy daily driver to get to work. then i took it straight to the canyons and it instantly made me a car enthusiast. i joined this forum and if anyone anywhere has the slightest modification to their car my eye goes to it and i try to figure out what it is great car and already i cant wait to get the wife something else so i can fully take over on the FR-S

No regrets at all. I don't even regret getting the automatic - which was my initial worry when I took the car home. I absolutely love this car even as I edge close to 10k miles. Just sad I have to put it in storage for the winter and drive my truck!

No regrets at all. I went in knowing what the power output of the car was. I did test drive it after all.
I'd like to see a more powerful factory version of car at some point and I'll probably upgrade to one if they do come out. Or I may keep this one and just add an after market power added after a few years. |

This post makes no sense. WTF...how can you even compare a $26k car to $35k cars? I mean, if you would have said "wish I would have bought a used Evo" that would make sense, and I could argue reliability, warranty, etc...but to say "I wish I would have bought <insert car that costs $10k+ more> instead"...??
Take the difference in cost (~$10k) and modify the shit out of your car.

Hey, it could be worse. You could be stuck in a non-sports car right now... Like a Mercedes C Class or a Camaro
![]() But seriously, just be patient and the aftermarket will cure all your ills. There are plenty of turbo and s/c kits coming out that will satisfy all our needs for speed. In the meantime, have you ever been to a high performance driving school? If not, now's a good time to learn how to drive a slow car fast. It's much more rewarding than driving a fast car slow.

I've done inspections on Camaros, and they feel dead compared to the fr-s...plus the fr-s's interior looks better.
