Our cars probably on the first boat heading to Australia in November. My car was built on the last day of October and web tracking shows 11/12/2012 delivery in Melbourne.

Well, now I know for sure when!

Completed 22/11/2012, hopefully, arrives 19/12/2012-- which means I won't get it until 3/1/2013. That's not so bad though, means I'll have more parts ready!

Got on one of the extra allocations. I original ordered a GT in September but cancelled it. That one is still showing production to be confirmed so who knows when I would have taken delivery.

Well done!! You mean the extra allocations that Toyota said 'don't exist!!'

Oh that's EASY!!!! Given the way mine is going and ordered 2 July I'd say around May 2017!!

I can afford to be cynical, Toyota is treating those who got in early with absolute contempt - the additonal cars should be sorted to fill existing outstanding orders and not just allocated 'willy-nilly' to Dealers who have no one waiting on that particular spec and colour, surely their computer system can handle that little task!!

Toyota use 'SAP' computer system and for the last 12 years plus, to me i've always called it 'CR*P' !!

I agree mate - I ordered my GT in July, still no sign of a build date and without your help I would still be wondering when I would get to drive my new toy. How Toyota can simply fill new orders with the extra allocation is beyond me and now I know why my dealer said there would be no problem with me cancelling my original order!

a lot of GTs getting cancelled, i had to cancel a june ordered GT as well and now have a GTS coming in january..
